Sully Gravity Explores Vulnerability With New Single, ‘Take Me To The Ocean’

Spanish-Nigerian artist, Sully Gravity has gained notoriety from playing acoustic sets across London and surrounding areas and is going on tour to promote his new single, 'Take Me To The Ocean'. His sound is described as emotive, sensual and soothing, infused with Soul, Pop, R&B and Gospel.

We sat down with Spanish-Nigerian artist, Sully Gravity (Sultan Alabede) in a 2018 interview and learned more about his background and the process behind his EP, epokhē. Sully is from Valencia, Spain, but is living in London where he has laid the groundwork for his music career. His sound is described as emotive, sensual and soothing, infused with Soul, Pop, R&B and Gospel. He has gained notoriety from playing acoustic sets across London and surrounding areas, a sold out show at The Old Church and supporting acts like Bruno Major and London’s Writers Circle. Sully is taking his talents on the road with his own tour titled, Epokhē Tour, to promote his upcoming single, Take Me To The Ocean, which is set to release July 26, 2019. “Take Me To The Ocean is the opening statement of epokhē, it explores my vulnerability as a cry to my mother,” Sully explains.
